Freelance Marketing Consultant (previously Digital Marketing Apprentice)
Emma Blake Morsi initially juggled post-student lifestyle as a digital marketing apprentice for Saffron Records, Bristol’s first female record label, as well as taking on invaluable opportunities within PR agency Plaster Creative Comms. Since then, her role has now developed into being a freelance design consultant for the business, working closely with the Saffron artists for their new releases.
Very rarely are women given a platform for their talents to speak for themselves, without there being an emphasis on looks and their visual branding. Saffron Records offers up a platform for young female artists to be taken seriously in such a challenging industry. As the previous Digital Marketing Apprentice and Design Consultant, Morsi is thrilled to share the remarkable emerging female talent that will be signed to Saffron Records.
Particularly interested in everything, she loves to take on new endeavours and recently produced Nocturnal‘s Issue V. She works alongside upcoming artists and music enthusiasts to create music columns and social media feeds. This involves having a strong passion for the music scene across various genres in order to produce relevant music and culture content.
Saffron Picks – The Official Saffron Record’s Spotlight Feature
One of the many social marketing campaigns Emma Blake Morsi led on was ‘Saffron Picks‘, the official Saffron Records spotlight feature on emerging artists, past loves, and underrated hits. Released at the beginning of the record label’s launch, each member of the team would write about their tune for the week, then Morsi would collate the interests into one feature story – sometimes themed, sometimes randomised – with playful titles as an insight into the label’s collective sound. Read the features here.
